Professional development opportunities and consultation services

KBS provides professional development to a variety of individuals, families, and organizations. We provide some free training options to the community at our Centerville office, but also will work with organizations to provide training tailored to their needs. Workshops offered in the past include Intro to ABA, the RBT 40-Hour Training, Toilet Training, and other behavioral presentations.

In addition, KBS can offer specialized professional development and consulting services. These can include consultations with other ABA companies on navigating insurance, supervision towards national certification in behavior analysis, and other areas of expertise.

FAQ’s

  • Key Behavior has developed an in-person, lecture, and interactive, 40-hour training that meets the training requirement of becoming a Registered Behavior Technician. We typically offer this training in coordination with other organizations, such as school districts. If interested in setting up RBT training for your organization, please contact us! Requirements for becoming an RBT can be reviewed through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board’s website.

  • You must have a Master's in ABA, Education, or Psychology, and receive 75 hours of direct supervision across 1500 hours of fieldwork. Key Behavior offers employees free supervision towards their board certification. Typically, Key Behavior does not offer it to individuals not employed by Key Behavior, unless they are sponsored through another organization, such as a school district.
